Half Day :

Half-day hike around the most active volcano land of Arequipa. This tour is for those who like to explore remote areas around Misti volcano and Pichu Pichu Mountain. The trek around the volcanoes is one of the top alternatives to see an amazing volcanic landscape where local people live under the prefect conical shape of one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the south of Peru.

The valley of Chiguata and Cachamarca offers a great view of agriculture amphitheater, made by an ancient civilization before Spaniards found this green treasure between volcanoes, we offer this short hike located just one-hour driving from Arequipa. Enjoy these 3 hours of hiking which is suitable for everyone. The trek departure from your hotel and transfer to Chiguata village (3100m) located on the southeast between the Misti and Picchu Picchu slopes.

The trek began on the main square of Chiguata where a nice colonial church is built with a volcanic rock named "Sillar". From this point, trek along throughout the pre-Inca terraces system and cross a small river to the slopes of the Misti volcano following sandy single track from the south to the north side of the volcano. This trek is considerate easy to moderate. We'll stop halfway for our snack. The rain season on the region is between December and April, the weather makes it greener. The trip starts at 8 am with pick-up and drop-off from your hotel. All the service ends after 5 hours.
